Awesome scenery! Quinta da Regaleira in Sintra, is a magnificent 16th century Renaissance-style manor with amazing grounds and the initiation well there is an experience to walk through. I enjoyed being outdoors in nature, strolling through lush greenery, landscaped gardens, climbing the towers located on the grounds with views of the surrounding area and exploring the fascinating network of underground tunnels, caves and grottos there. Highly recommended if you enjoy gardens, caves and walking.

Definitely one of the places to see when visiting Sintra. You can easily spend 2-3 hours here exploring the sights. Make sure you do the walk down the well to the bottom and out the caves. Spectacular and exciting. The towers monuments and structures are almost fairytale in design and composition with the paths walkways and beautiful forest surroundings. Must see...

This was a highlight of Sintra for us. Just stunning! It wasn't high on my list before arriving but it definitely was worth going to. The only downfall was that we didn't get inside due to lack of accessibility. But the grounds were stunning, if you're on the fence about this one you should go!

Such and interesting and magical place. Feels like stepping into a mystical storybook. The estate is full of hidden pathways , lush gardens, grotto, towers, and also the famous initiation well. Exploring the grounds is an adventure itself. The grounds are large with lots of walking, stairs. And uneven paths - anyone with mobility issues should be mindful. Overall whole place is surreal with mix of nature, architecture, symbolism and history. Definitely a must visit if your in Sintra!

We had an amazing experience during our tour. Miguel, our guide, has amazing energy, was extremely polite and friendly, and made our day extra special. He shared the history of the places we visited, gave us tips for restaurants, and also for other places to see while in Lisbon. I highly recommend taking a tour with him!

Trip was amazing! Miguel was very cheerful, polite with a great sense of humor. We helped us with all the bookings we had to make for the palace/maze and all his suggestions were perfect! I highly recommend him as a guide

My friend and i booked this trip at last minute with a good value. Tickets to Pena palace & Regaleira were not included in the price. We get to the pick up point soon (7:30) but there were lots of different tours departing from the same point. Unfortunately, our tour guide called our names but due to some misunderstandings other people mistakenly were taken instead of us. Confusing situation. Long story short, we finally were picked up by our tour guide, Bruno, at 8:30 am who managed the situation well. No hard feelings for anyone :) The tour went well. We were 4 people in total with a minivan. Bruno helped us to buy tickets for Pena palace, and followed up our online ticket purchase issue for Regaleira. Which we are so thankful for. We get back to Lisbon around 5pm i believe. We had a great time on this tour. It worth the visit.

While it's not as large as some of the other palaces, the grounds are beautiful and full of things to explore such as caves, towers, waterfalls, viewpoints, and side trails. Also it's walking distance from historic center, which makes it a convenient visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend.
