Your team has received a sudden distress signal from Edwin Hubble, a renowned astronomer stationed deep within the Aokigahara Forest — Japan’s infamous "Sea of Trees." Known for his groundbreaking studies of celestial movements and the secrets hidden beneath the forest’s ancient canopy, Edwin had never shown signs of fear until now. His emergency broadcast cuts off abruptly, leaving only static and a chilling sense that something has gone terribly wrong. With no clear indication of his whereabouts, your team must act quickly, navigating the dense, shadowy forest while piecing together fragments of his last transmission. Every rustle of leaves and distant sound seems amplified in the eerie silence, heightening the tension as the fading daylight signals the approaching night.
Tasked with finding Edwin before nightfall, you push deeper into the forest, following faint clues left behind among the towering trees. Legends of Aokigahara speak of restless souls wandering beneath the dense canopy, whispering warnings to those who dare enter. As the shadows lengthen and the forest grows darker, each step becomes a race against time. The unsettling feeling of being watched intensifies, making it clear that the forest is alive with mysteries and dangers lurking just out of sight. With the sun sinking toward the horizon, you realize that while anyone can enter at sunrise, escaping before sunset will require courage, sharp wits, and teamwork to navigate the forest’s haunting secrets.

The place was a bit overgrown unfortunately. I came here with my mates to play a game of football, but could not find a flat bit of field anywhere. We finally found an acceptable spot, only to be asked to leave by an unkind member of staff.

Great location for a family walk. Lots of different routes and hidden tracks. Only complaint would be the parking as getting across the road from the Hellfire car park isn't the easiest with young kids. Would be great if there was dedicated parking

I love this place ! If you are a fan of nature like I do, this is a perfect spot where there's a small river going through, a mixture of different and beautiful views. It's great for going on your own exploring the area, with your friends/family or walking your pets. The distance from the entrance and back is around 2km or a bit over depending on the path you went through.

Lovely natural forest, plenty of trails and it has a couple of rope swings

Absolutely beautiful walk/hike through the forest. Has one of the biggest trees I've ever seen. Beautiful streams going through the forest trail, seeing the old structures of Lord massays mansion, the old military road can be still seen, random ropes with swings attached to the trees and ropes to swing over the lakes. Just stunningly beautiful to walk through nature and an area with no litter.. But the place should have bins around as I had to carry my rubbish in my hand for about an hour all the way back to the car.
