Beautiful backstage, water is warmer. Very safe for kids.

If you like to spend a day on a beach packed like canned sardine, it’s perfect for you. The water is clear and calm so it’s nice for swimming, especially for families, but it’s too crowded. You can rent a pair of sun-chairs and an umbrella for 20€, but big families rent just a pair and put blankets in between. Hard to park, Uber from Lissabon is from 34€ and we got scammed (the driver marked he was there but he wasn’t).

Beautiful beach with some parking around and a bus stop. Has some drink stands and a cafe with bathrooms. Wide beach with a sandbar that was exposed at low tide. Water was cool but about the warmest I have felt yet in Portugal. Overall, beautiful!

one of the nicest beaches if you don’t wanna move too far from setúbal. there’s a bus you can take literally from anywhere in the city and it drops you footsteps away from the beach. amazing. that said: it’s so easy to get there that there’s always lots of people. but the sand is almost white, the water is really clear and with beautiful color and there’s no waves, almost like a really cold (atlantic ocean 🙃) pool. it’s worth going 🙌🏼

Absolutely stunning beach with a wonderful view!! Warm water, beautiful sand, and small waves. Perfect place if you wanna swim all day. If you are coming from Lisboa, you can either take a train or bus to come to Setúbal, and from the center you can take another bus which will leave you literally in front of the beach, it’s very accessible in this way. One minus point is that the bus was packed with others, it can be an uncomfortable experience if they’re considerate people around themselves given that bus needs keep turning around the way.
