Beautiful adventure. Can go to the protected islands with a $6 permit. Also a nearby beach to snorkel. Be prepared to walk a lot before /after. About 10-15m walk pulling the kayak to the beach. Then down/up a big sand hill.

Our time with Kailua Beach Adventures was fantastic. The trip out to the Mokes was beautiful, and we loved getting to explore the islands once we arrived. Huge shoutout to Maggie, who led the tour with so much energy and enthusiasm. Couldn’t have had a better guide or a better day!

Came here 6 years ago as a solo traveler and now a second time as a group of six. Rented three double kayaks and had a great time for 4 hours. We paddled out to Flat Island, strolled around, then continued Lanikai Beach and snorkeled some. The weather conditions weren't in our favor, so the other two islands would have been too much. Staff are great, would definitely recommend this place if you like outdoor adventures!

I came in to do some shopping and Chad was extremely helpful! He recommended the perfect items for myself and gifts for family. I will definitely come back soon to try the kayaking experience soon 🚣♂️🌴

Absolutely amazing experience! Couldn't of asked for a better time as I got to kayak around some islands, saw a ton of sea turtles, and even saw a Hawaiian monk seal! All the while I got to learn interesting history about the Hawaiian culture. Aside from the sight seeing, the staff was so kind and helpful. Especially a worker named Maggie as she seemed to know exactly what I needed and always was super nice. Will for sure be coming back here for another great adventure!
