The people who run these trains enjoy their jobs and it shows. Because we were shooting a movie here, we got to experience their perfect blend of safety and accommodations first-hand based on our unique situation and needs. Ride this train! It’s beautifully scenic. It’s historic. And there’s a surprise around every bend.
What an amazing experience! 🚂 🛤️ Great views 📸 and comfort from our premium seats 💺! Scenic is an understatement! 🤩 Sone sights were so picturesque they looked unreal! I loved the special souvenirs we received! The best strawberry danish I’ve ever eaten! 🍓 I suggest packing a lunch and snacks. I didn’t enjoy the buffet from the contracted vendor. So many hidden gems, beautiful views and knowledge received aboard the train. Definitely made memories. The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad was an unforgettable train ride experience.
Exceptionally beautiful scenery, gorgeous old train, even the Coach car was comfortable, peaceful journey, friendly and informative docent, expansive offerings on the included buffet lunch, comfortable bus ride back. Really an enjoyable day going through Colorado high dessert, mountains, pines, aspens, trestles and tunnels. Highly recommend this trip!
