To enjoy the full railroad line, a scenic bus ride is required in one direction. Guests may choose to ride the bus first and return by train, or ride the train first and take the bus back to their vehicle. All Aboard trips include a hot lunch at scenic Osier Station, allowing passengers to relax and take in the breathtaking mountain scenery along the journey.
The Parlor Car offers Victorian-era elegance and refined comfort, with lounge-style seating and panoramic windows that showcase the unspoiled beauty of the Authentic West. My job gives me the opportunity to see a place inside and out and to get to know how a place is run. If you’re looking for an exceptional train-riding experience, this is your railroad. The people who run these trains enjoy their jobs and it shows. Because we were shooting a movie here, we got to experience their perfect blend of safety and accommodations first-hand based on our unique situation and needs. Ride this train! It’s beautifully scenic. It’s historic. And there’s a surprise around every bend.

What an amazing experience! 🚂 🛤️ Great views 📸 and comfort from our premium seats 💺! Scenic is an understatement! 🤩 Sone sights were so picturesque they looked unreal! I loved the special souvenirs we received! The best strawberry danish I’ve ever eaten! 🍓 I suggest packing a lunch and snacks. I didn’t enjoy the buffet from the contracted vendor. So many hidden gems, beautiful views and knowledge received aboard the train. Definitely made memories. The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad was an unforgettable train ride experience.

Exceptionally beautiful scenery, gorgeous old train, even the Coach car was comfortable, peaceful journey, friendly and informative docent, expansive offerings on the included buffet lunch, comfortable bus ride back. Really an enjoyable day going through Colorado high dessert, mountains, pines, aspens, trestles and tunnels. Highly recommend this trip!

Wow.. being my first time having a real steam powered train ride this was incredible… being able to move from a covered car to the open car… beautiful high country scenery totally worth it… the buffet style meal that’s included with your ticket was amazing see attached photos… multiple meats, salad, baked potatoes, multiple dessert, coffee, tea, and water.. wow I’ll be back!!!

Train ride was AWESOME! Beautiful scenery throughout ride! Lunch is provided in their cafeteria, located on the mountain. It's a buffet style lunch. Very filling. During ride your able to move about the train. I will definitely ride again. Gift shop is affordable as well.
