Kayak tour operator navigating the Ponta da Piedade cliffs. We booked online the day before. Bookings can be done via their website or reserve via WhatsApp. Multiple walk-up groups turned away due to no availability (We visited on a Saturday in September). On this tour you start kayaking from the beach and are towed by boat back at the end. Guide was helpful and told us some information at different points. Altough the tour was slightly chaotic at times due to the abundance of both kayak and boats visiting the same caves. There was a short 10-15min stop on a beach to snorkel with equipment provided, although when we visited the beach was full of seaweed. Overall the tour was good fun and would recommend as for the price it was good value, I think these cliffs are best explored by kayaking.
Pleasant experience! Sea was pretty choppy so knowing how to steer a kayak properly would definitely help. Might be wise to bring a towel to wipe down after being towed back by the boat as you’ll likely be slightly drenched (and cold).
We had a great experience! Great tourguide who showed us the hidden caves, told us about the cliffs, what was on the cliffs, and how they formed. Also could answer all our questions!
