M/V Hydra is a luxurious 40-foot Gemini Freestyle power catamaran designed for speed, stability, and a comfortable, dry ride. Perfect for private charters of up to 12 guests, Hydra offers plenty of space to relax, including bow seating with in-hull cushions and custom bean bag chairs, as well as covered seating at the stern. Guests can enjoy swimming with turtles, exploring colorful coral reefs, and snorkeling with provided equipment. The catamaran also features a FUSION stereo system to play your favorite music, a low draft for easy beach access, and a swim ladder for convenience. For lunch or drinks, guests can visit Dinghy’s on Water Island or explore one of the many nearby beach bars and restaurants. A private bathroom is available onboard for added comfort, making it a perfect choice for a day of fun and relaxation on the water.
The private charter includes the captain, water, soda, ice, beer, and all snorkeling gear needed for the day. Fuel is not included and is billed at $8 per gallon based on actual usage. Guests are advised to bring towels, reef-safe sunscreen, a camera, and cash for meals, drinks ashore, souvenirs, and crew gratuities, which are customary at 20–22 percent for excellent service. Please note that M/V Hydra does not visit the British Virgin Islands at this time, and the itinerary may be adjusted depending on weather or sea conditions. This private charter provides a perfect combination of adventure, relaxation, and luxury on the beautiful waters surrounding St. Thomas.

Amazing day out and the perfect way to see all of Hydra. A big thank you Captain George and his wife who were an absolute pleasure and took us to some amazing caves and swim spots. Lunch is an extra €10 and you are served souvlaki, salad and bread which all tasted great. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was such a wonderful experience. We were so well looked after, got to sail around the whole island and swim lots! Lunch was absolutely delicious and you get to learn a lot about the island and landmarks as you go. Really recommend this, especially if you don’t have long on Hydra!

It was a fantastic experience! We had a perfect trip! The captain and his wife were excellent with incredible hospitality. We will definitely do it again next time we will be in Hydra. The places we visited were magical and Mr Giorgos knows so many details about the island which explains during the trip. They even offer lunch on board if you like. They are very kind and smile all the time ! It was something unique that takes you to a tropical experience! We definitely recommend for everyone who visits the island!

We debated whether to go to a single beach for several hours or tour around the island by a small cruise boat. I'm so glad we opted for the cruise. George the driver did a great job of telling us of the sites as we passed by. We made numerous stops for swimming in warm, crystal clear water. A highlight for me was a swim in the cave. A lot of the terrain is rocky and doesn't change much but it was relaxing, and cool, on the water. The boat had a top deck which did have a pull up roof but it wasn't pulled over and this held the most people. We prefered the shade so stayed on the covered lower deck. If you want this area, arrive 20 to 30 mins early as it only holds around 6. Total number on the boat was 16 which was a perfect size. Note: we didn't go to the main beaches as I assume boats like this aren't allowed to closely pull in. We did however stop near ( but not at) Bisti beach but didn't see Paralia Agios Nikolaos (beach) which was a little disappointing. We didn't have lunch as we bought our own but the kebabs and salad looked good. They also sell drinks for a small fee. We' ll have happy memories of Hydra thanks to this cruise as we also made new friends from different countries.

Excellent choice! We stopped in 4 places and swam in those beautiful waters. The captain was amazing and spoke in English during the tour.The trip lasted approximately 6 hours and costed 30 euros. If you want to have a lunch during the tour I think you have to pay 50€. Choose this trip once you visit Hydra and you won't regret it.
