It was a wonderful experience. And I know our "fatties" didn't want to share the day with us. But the excitement of seeing two communities of dolphins was indescribable. The first, the Striped Dolphins, didn't want to play; it seems they were preparing us for when we managed to encounter a pod of 500 dolphins... It was truly special to see them play with the boat. Totally free. The sea that day didn't show us everything... but it was truly a wonderful voyage. Thank you, Gorka and the entire crew... It was great sharing the day with you!! To the oceans!

Our annual outing with Verballenas has become a summer must, a day of total enjoyment and connection with the ocean and the wonderful creatures that inhabit it. Gorka and his team are incredibly kind, professional people who explain and explain everything with tremendous care. It's incredibly clear that, in addition to being extremely knowledgeable, they love what they do and are excited by every outing and every sighting as if it were their first. Yesterday's was a spectacular outing. For more details, follow Verballenas on Facebook, where they post reports of all their outings. As we always say, we love being able to see, be amazed, and enjoy dolphins, gorditas (as they affectionately call and now call our whales), various birds, sperm whales... and we've always done so on our previous visits, and there's no other like it 😉, but just the eight hours on the boat with this amazing team, sailing and connecting with the oceans and marine life... is a pleasure in itself. I've been on two whale-watching excursions with this company and had a fantastic experience on both occasions. Perhaps we were lucky with the weather (on the first excursion the sea over the continental shelf was as flat as a mill-pond, not a wave in sight), but the excellent information and advice provided, plus the wide range of cetaceans and other sea-life we encountered, were both I'm sure almost entirely down to the highly experienced and helpful staff on the boat. Sowerby's Beaked Whale is very rarely seen worldwide (the guide-book gave a probability of 5%), but we saw them several times on both excursions. We also saw numerous common and bottlenose dolphins, pilot whales, tuna-fish, sunfish, a swordfish, and a Cuvier's Beaked Whale breaching entirely out of the water! Both excursions were unforgettable experiences that I would highly recommend to anyone with an interest in marine wildlife.

Fantastic!!!. Not only did we see schools of tuna and birds feeding, but we saw moon fish, we saw striped and common dolphins and 11 fin whales, then to top it all off we saw a once in a lifetime BLUE WHALE!!! Absolutly fantastic, from the talk and presentation the night before all the way through to the end of the trip!! The team at verballenas were great!! Highly recommendable adventure!!! Muchas gracias al equipo de verballenas, la aventura fue genial con constante emoción y diversión, especialmente viendo a la BALLENA AZUL. Volveré. ¡¡Simplemente espectacular!!
