We decided to summit Santa Isabel with Volcano and we are beyond grateful for the experience and the service. I booked the 4-day Nevado del Tolima summit with Volcano Adventures, and it was an amazing experience. Only a few months later, after booking other summits with different agencies across South America, I realized just how good Volcano Adventures was. The organization was top-notch, and the guides struck the perfect balance between being professional and fun. The food throughout the trip was delicious—a key factor on a four-day trek—and even at camp, one of the guides cooked some great pasta. Another important aspect was that the agency really emphasized previous experience and fitness during the booking process. As a result, everyone in the group was well prepared and in excellent condition for the summit. I was the only foreigner in the group and spoke little Spanish, but I felt very welcome and had the perfect trip to Nevado del Tolima. A big thanks to Volcano Adventures—I highly recommend them!
I had an amazing time hiking nevado del tolima with them. My guides, Sébastien and Caesar, were great and I wouldn't have made it to the summit without them. Laura, the volcano adventures agent whom I booked the tour with, was a joy to deal with. She gave me plenty of advice on what to bring, and gave lots of details on what to expect during the hike. I highly recommend this company for hikes in Los Nevados national park.
