We booked Balos Lagoon Boat Trips for a private tour of Gramvousa Island and Balos Lagoon yesterday. The experience was amazing. It was well worth paying extra for the private boat. The boat was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained (having a bathroom was a big plus), and got us to Gramvousa and Balos in half the time stated on some other tours (about 30 minutes). This meant we were able to spend more time exploring the old fortress on Gramvousa, and on the beach at Balos. The Captain and Yiannis were very professional, kind, and accomodating, letting us decide the sites to visit and how much time we wanted to spend at each location. They prepared a fresh salad and had lots of delicious fruit for us. They also provided drinks, including water, beer, and wine. When we wanted to extend our stay at Balos an additional two hours, they agreed without hesitation. I strongly recommend visiting both Gramvousa and Balos. The views, waters, and overall experience are unlike any we have seen. We will definitely go back on our next trip to Crete and will use Balos Lagoon Boat Trips when we do! Thanks again to the Captain and Yiannis for a great day.

The captain gave us a warm welcome, and his hospitality truly stood out. The waters were stunning, the boats were safe and very well-maintained. Honestly, they have the best boats in Kissamos.
