The Sapphire Coast is known for exceptional inshore and offshore fishing, offering some of the best marine experiences in New South Wales. These pristine waters produce Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Kingfish and Snapper, while the local reefs are rich with Snapper, Morwong, Flathead, Trevally, Nannygai and various Wrasses and Gropers. Merimbula Marina provides fishing charters suitable for beginners and experienced anglers, using a spacious and stable vessel equipped with quality rods and reels. No fishing licence is required, and all fish are cleaned and bagged for guests to take home. The popular three hour reef fishing charter offers the perfect amount of time to enjoy productive fishing and bring home a fresh catch.
Guests are taken to the best reef locations based on weather conditions, ensuring a rewarding and enjoyable experience. Jessica

Murray and I had a fabulous trip last Tuesday (14th October, 2025) with Scott. We caught a wide variety of fish, including a large snapper and a mulloway. Scott was extremely helpful and kind and we thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic day on the water. I highly recommend Scott and Fishpen Charters. Jessica and Murray

Had a terrific morning on the water at Merimbula with Fishpen Charters. Booking in was simple, got to go on a day that suited me and Scott was really helpful. But out on the water was even better - Danny was a great skipper, we caught heaps (big variety too) and an added bonus was the whale watching. Definitely value for money - loved it.

Great morning out fishing. Scott was very congenial and a good host. The fish were tasty!

I've done two 4 hour Charters with Scott and crew this week. Both times Scott and the team were friendly & professional, Great with the kids & we even caught some fish. Highly recommend, will be back next time in Merimbula.
Jason

Booked a 4hr reef trip with the guys and had a great time. Fish were a bit patchy but you can't force them to bite. We got onto a few nice fish for the day, landed approx 25-35 fish between us but threw a lot more than back. 10/10 recommend booking in with Scott and Danny, super friendly guys and I'll be jumping back on board next time I'm down. Scott even said i could have one of his boat motors so I'm picking that up before I leave, thanks buddy 🤣👌
