We started our hike to see salto do cagarrão and salto do prego on this parking (~7 cars can park here). It was 8,5km and took us 3 hours with breaks to see waterfalls. The trail was very muddy and slippery but in the nice scenery in which you can feel like in jungle. Good trail for the Azorean weather as the trees were protecting us from the rain.

Start your hiking to the waterfalls from here. We found it medium difficult, be ready, especially from point 2 to point 3 elevation is more than the uphill to the first waterfall (point 2 on the map)
