Our 3 days trip in canoe has been amazing. They are really organised and very friendly. We planned the trip for 4, but at the last minute 1 person decided to desist. So, they arranged everything to switch from 2 canoes to 1 canoe and 1 kayak. They have also proposed an alternative plan for the 4th person to join us in one of the hut via the jet boat. Honestly, I am really happy on how it went and I really recommend Whanganui River Canoes. PS: Their camping is also worthy, great services for a more than correct price

Great team, brilliant experience and a lifetime of memories. My partner and I did the 3 day freedom hire. Lots of storages was provided; 1 large barrel each, 1 small barrel each, a massive dry bag for tent / day bag etc and a black strong box for valuables. Lots of info as you are are booking so felt very prepared.

Excellent hire company! My partner and I hired a canoe for 3 days for a freedom tour on the river. We were given a detailed video guide the day before and tips about how to paddle the canoe effectively and safely. Ben and Rebecca were very helpful, informative and accomodating, plus the snacks and drinks upon our return were very welcomed and a nice touch! :)
