highly recommended - we hired electric bikes which were in great condition, headed off along the beautiful blueway to drumshanbo. Came out of the Shed Distillery only to find tyre as flat as a pancake. I phoned back to base in Leitrim village, and after only 15 minutes Seamus pulled up with a replacement bike. Great service
We would absolutely do this again. We rented regular bikes and took the bike path to Drumshanbo in the morning. The bike ride was mostly flat, and I felt that we had the right amount of time to ride to the village, have a coffee and return to the rental place. There are big hills on the road to the bike path, but once you get to the bike path, it’s a relaxing easy ride with beautiful scenery. The rental person was very kind and helpful, getting our bikes and helmets adjusted.
We were welcomed with open doors. Offered helmets and given instructions for operating the e-bikes. And given directions to where to ride. Had an enjoyable ride along the Shanon Blueway!
When we arrived in Leitrim Village it was raining cats and dogs and we thought we’d have to cancel. But the rain stopped and we had a wonderful day thanks to Electric BIke Trails, their fabulous electric bikes and great service. We did see a little rain on our trip to Drumshanbo , but that and even a puncture didn’t detract. The rain was light and we only had to wait 10 minutes before a perfect replacement bike arrived. Many thanks to Seamus and Eileen for a great day out. We can highly recommend Electric Bike Trails - you must try it, and make an ordinary day very special.
Granted it was our mini moon, but the day was pretty close to perfect. Loved the bike ride to Drumshanbo. Our first time on electric bikes and we were very impressed. Eileen and the staff are incredibly helpful. What a wonderful experience 👍🏻
