What a great way to spend the day! There's so much to explore and see. So much history in one place. The Medal of Honor Museum was our favorite. A fitting tribute to our true American heroes. The staff is helpful and friendly. The USS Yorktown is definitely worth making time for.

We visited the USS Yorktown, and the ship itself is absolutely amazing, very informative and humbling. Walking through the exhibits gave us a deep appreciation for those who served our country. We were also happy to meet a volunteer (Rich) who kindly took the time to share extra details about some of the artifacts, which made the experience even more meaningful. The only downside was the veterans discount policy. The discount was minimal ($6 off) and only applied to one of our tickets, which was disappointing, especially considering the $30 admission price per person. My family member who served was extremely disappointed, as we expected a bit more recognition or consideration for veterans and their families. Many other museums and historic sites offer more generous discounts for all accompanying family members. Overall, it’s a must-visit experience that combines history, honor, and education in a powerful way.

Very awesome place. Great place for the kids and any big history buffs. Got a medal of Honor museum inside the ship, a place to eat and sit down, a upper deck and lower, and tons of history. We didn't get to finish the entire ship and everything it had to offer because we were three hours in and already tired. But this could easily be an all-day, if not, two-day adventure.
