The Charleston jail tour was such a fun experience, we really enjoyed it! Our guide, Harper, was so amazing! At just 45 minutes, the tour felt short (but not rushed), yet was well worth the trip.
Sarah was amazing on our tour! She kept our entire group engaged from start to finish. We took several girls (age 10-11) from our softball team that was in town for a tournament for the weekend. They were creeped out, but just enough to keep wanting to hear more. The way Sarah told stories about the history of what occurred in each room was fantastic, and she also added her own flare that included humor (which I always appreciate). I highly recommend her if you go on this tour.
We really enjoyed the haunted jail tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable and made everyone feel welcome. The check-in process was easy and very pleasant. Everyone on the team was a treat to speak with. I also love how much Bulldog contributes to Charleston's historical preservation, both through their financial support of architectural projects and their guides' forthright storytelling and continuation of Charleston's oral history. It was a great experience.

We did another ghost tour with this company on the USS Yorktown. This one had more ghost stories and little creepier. Nothing scary happened to our group. Dave was a great tour guide with historical details and kept the group engaged. If you’re trying to decide between the two tours… this one was shorter but had way more stories and the USS Yorktown was longer but was more historical and had better views for pictures. I asked my group and we all agreed that we liked the jail tour better though.
