2 Tank Shore Dive – Leleiwi Beach

After a detailed briefing and an easy shore entry, you’ll explore calm, clear waters enriched by cool freshwater springs that help keep the reefs thriving year-round. Each dive site offers its own charm, from colorful coral formations and volcanic terrain to encounters with Hawaiian green sea turtles, eels, octopus, and a wide variety of reef fish such as butterflyfish, tangs, and Moorish idols. Between dives, you’ll enjoy a relaxing surface interval with light refreshments while taking in scenic ocean views before gearing up for your second underwater adventure at a different site with new marine life to discover. This tour typically runs 3.5 to 4 hours, includes two air tanks, weights, a professional divemaster guide, bottled water, and snacks, with rental gear available for those who need it. Divers can expect depths between 25 and 70 feet depending on conditions, comfortable water temperatures around 75–80°F, and the personalized attention of small guided groups.

Before joining, guests should note important participation requirements and restrictions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. This tour is not suitable for individuals who are pregnant, over 300 lbs, have back problems, or are unable to swim unassisted in open water. Certified divers must present valid Open Water or higher certification, while uncertified or introductory divers must complete a mandatory medical questionnaire 72 hours prior, demonstrate the ability to carry 50 lbs of equipment, and successfully complete classroom and pool training before entering the ocean. All tours depart promptly at the scheduled time, and late arrivals or incomplete prerequisites are not eligible for refunds. Divers must also observe required no-fly times after diving, including a minimum wait of 12 hours after a single dive and 18 hours after a two-tank dive before ascending above 2,500 feet.
