Axe Throwing

This thrilling 1-hour axe throwing experience is perfect for parties, group events, or anyone looking to try a unique outdoor activity. Inspired by historical warriors—from medieval knights and Vikings to Native American tomahawk throwers—this session combines fun, skill, and a touch of history. Participants begin with lightweight training 'angel' axes to learn the fundamentals of accurate and safe throwing at wooden roundel targets from a distance of three meters. Once comfortable, they progress to full-sized axes, offering a more satisfying and challenging throw. The session culminates in a friendly, scored competition using tournament-style target boards, allowing everyone to test their skills and enjoy a bit of friendly rivalry.

Held next to a custom-built Clubhouse within a 100-acre activity center in the Warwickshire countryside, the session is guided by experienced instructors who provide tuition and ensure safety throughout. No prior experience is required, making it suitable for beginners while still offering fun and challenge for those with some skill. Guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for the outdoors, as the activity continues in all weather under a covered throwing area. With a maximum of eight participants per session, the experience can be adapted for larger groups to ensure everyone has a turn. By the end of the hour, participants leave confident in their axe throwing abilities, having enjoyed a unique, engaging, and memorable outdoor activity.
