Our adventure begins on the Rainbow River, paddling upstream toward the beautiful Indian Creek. As soon as your paddle touches the water, you’ll be surrounded by the natural beauty of this popular Florida paddling destination. Indian Creek, a tranquil tributary feeding into the Rainbow River, is shaded by a lush canopy and features shallow waters averaging 2 to 5 feet, making it an ideal spot for exploration. The gentle current and serene surroundings provide the perfect setting to enjoy the peaceful rhythm of paddling, taking in the sights and sounds of Florida’s vibrant ecosystem.
Continuing upstream, the journey leads to the enchanting headspring of Rainbow Springs. Here, participants disembark for a leisurely hike to admire three stunning man-made waterfalls before taking a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear spring water. Afterward, you’ll return to your paddleboard and drift downstream along the natural lazy river, exploring hidden underwater caves and perhaps spotting a scuba diver along the way. On warmer days, guests can swim in the 72-degree waters, while keeping an eye out for wildlife such as playful otters, water birds, turtles, colorful fish, and even sunbathing alligators, making this a truly immersive and unforgettable Florida adventure.
