What an epic experience my wife and best friends surprised me for my 50th birthday! Rick and Ian are two of the best guides—super knowledgeable and a blast to be around. We did the Tomcar off-road tour and the full machine-gun package, which is an absolute must. From the M1919 to the Barrett .50 cal, plus the MCR belt-fed… just Badass.
Tyler and Rick at Desert Wolf Tours were an absolute blast. Literally. They handed us everything from machine guns to the .500 revolver to the big anti machine rifles and somehow made it all feel safe, simple and stupidly fun. They had us laughing from the safety briefing to the last round. Every time someone pulled the trigger the recoil made the wives jiggle like dashboard bobbleheads while Tyler and Rick kept a firm grip on the gun dong so nothing and nobody went sideways. We looked like a bunch of action heroes with zero talent and they still made us hit targets. No better way to spend Veterans Day than shooting with two veterans. Thanks guys for your service to our country and for keeping America safe so we can all live a life of freedom. If you want a day where your adrenaline is up, your group chat gets new inside jokes and you are still laughing about the jiggle and gun dong combo days later, book with Tyler and Rick. We had an absolute blast on our Desert Wolf Tour with Tyler and Rick! It was such an honor to spend Veterans Day with two actual veterans, what an incredible experience. We toured with Desert Wolf in 2016 and booked again in October 2025 to have our family experience Sonoran Desert riding. Our expert guide, Derik, was great and shared his knowledge of the plant and wildlife of the area. The Tomcars are fun vehicles to drive, just keep in mind no power steering or brakes. It was a beautiful afternoon for the tour and truly enjoyed the adventure with Derik. I highly recommend this company and tour if you want to experience some outdoor fun and adventure!

Nothing to do with Dinasaurs. Guide was not very knowledgeable. It was more about the UTV ride. Disappointing.

Just incredible!! The gentleman was passionate about what he was doing. It was just us and the guide for a 2 hour and 15 minute ride. Pure joy to pay for a real activity that wasn't rushed. Then the scenery was just incredible. We're so glad we stopped by during our road trip.
