The 'Creole & Crescent' Self-Guided Bike Tour offers a relaxed and enjoyable way to explore New Orleans at your own pace, making it suitable for nearly all riders. The route covers approximately nine miles, taking you from the French Quarter through historic neighborhoods to City Park and back, following bike lanes and shaded streets that showcase the charm of the city. The tour is designed for novice riders or better and provides a comfortable and scenic experience, highlighting the rich architecture, culture, and atmosphere of New Orleans. Bike rental duration options include 4, 8, or 24 hours, allowing flexibility for participants to explore at their own pace. Bikes can be picked up and returned at 317 Burgundy Street in the French Quarter, with standard pickup times from Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday or Monday availability by online reservation only.
All participants must adhere to non-negotiable requirements to ensure a safe and smooth experience. Riders are required to read, understand, and sign the Release, Waiver, and Indemnification Agreement along with the Statement of Assumption of Risk before starting the tour. The company reserves the right to deny service to anyone for any reason, including suspected intoxication. Riders must obey all traffic laws and are responsible for any damage to rental equipment, including repair or replacement costs and shipping fees. A valid photo ID and credit card are required, while debit and pre-paid cards are not accepted. Participants must be at least 12 years old and 4’11” or taller, with minors required to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and wear a helmet.
