Step into the shadows of Uppsala and experience a ghost walk that brings the citys darkest tales to life. Wander through historic streets and quiet alleyways as you hear stories drawn from Swedish history and old folklore. Your guide will reveal tales of restless spirits, ancient curses, and feared beings shaped by imprecations and black magic. Learn how the undead of the medieval world were believed to rise, how the elves could cast their dangerous blights, and why protective spells were once considered essential for survival. Feel the atmosphere thicken as you listen for the chilling cry of the myrling and discover the seductive and deadly lure of the neck spirit said to dwell near quiet waters.
The walk continues through the area surrounding Uppsala Cathedral, where centuries of legends still linger in the air. Hear dramatic accounts of executions on the old gallows hill and learn how travelers feared sudden drowning in the grasp of the lake spirit known as the sjora. Your guide will also share charms, love magic, and dark tales passed down through generations. This immersive walk blends myth, history, and eerie storytelling to reveal a side of Uppsala rarely seen in daylight. The tour begins at Riddartorget and invites you to explore a world where fear, belief, and folklore once shaped everyday life.

A great way to explore Gamla Stan! During the entire walk we experienced rain which only added to the overall vibe, so don't be dissappointed in advance if the forecast calls for umbrellas. Our tour guide, Cody, fits perfectly into his role! With a mixture of humour and grim history, an hour and a half flew by. I heavily recommend the dinner addition at the ex-prison restaurant.

Great historical ghost tour. Really interesting aspects of the city and wars with Denmark picked out. Reece was an awesome guide- made the whole experience engaging and the time flew by.

That was awesome, amazing, entertaining. Time was passing by so quickly! Hints - if you show up at the meeting point on time you do not have to worry you will miss the guide. You will notice him for sure :) thanks for wonderful time Cody :)

We did this tour in Stockholm, with our family of 4. It was amazing, Callum the guide is a very nice storyteller and makes the experience one of a kind.

I had an absolute blast with my friends and our host Callum! It was sadly poor weather with rain but the tour was not cut short and still fun, spooky and comical. I would highly recommend to anyone who visits Stockholm to do this tour!
