The staff were lovely and even able to accommodate a late request to change our live harvest tour from Cygnet Bay to the Broome showroom. We were the only people on the tour so got to ask a lot of questions. I even got to wear a very expensive pearl for the duration of it just for fun. There was no pressure to purchase anything. The only negative is we were disappointed that there wasn't a pearl meat tasting as advertised.
Stephen was fabulous! He did a live harvest for us and we got to see a beautiful pearl! He was very engaging and made us laugh.
Showroom in Chinatown was small but informative. Short videos and artefacts provided information about Broome pearling history. Had a fun diver's helmet that children could play with.
