Having a small child shouldn’t stop you from exploring the stunning Grampians! Our child carrier backpacks make bushwalking with young children and infants easy, safe, and comfortable. Unlike regular carriers, these hiking-specific packs feature a robust harness system and strong internal frame, allowing you to carry your little one and extra gear with stability and comfort. They are designed to keep your child secure while giving you the support needed for longer treks, so you can enjoy the outdoors together without compromise.

In addition to comfort and safety, our child carriers include practical features such as extra storage compartments for snacks, water, or hiking essentials, and a built-in rain cover to keep your child warm and dry in changing weather conditions. Renting allows you to try out the carrier, and if you love it, we’ll deduct the rental cost from the price of a new one. Please note that all gear hired from us must be returned to our office in Halls Gap unless alternative arrangements are made. These carriers combine safety, practicality, and comfort, making family hiking adventures easier and more enjoyable than ever.
