Having a small child shouldn’t stop you from exploring the stunning Grampians! Our child carrier backpacks make bushwalking with young children and infants easy, safe, and comfortable. Unlike regular carriers, these hiking-specific packs feature a robust harness system and strong internal frame, allowing you to carry your little one and extra gear with stability and comfort. They are designed to keep your child secure while giving you the support needed for longer treks, so you can enjoy the outdoors together without compromise.
In addition to comfort and safety, our child carriers include practical features such as extra storage compartments for snacks, water, or hiking essentials, and a built-in rain cover to keep your child warm and dry in changing weather conditions. Renting allows you to try out the carrier, and if you love it, we’ll deduct the rental cost from the price of a new one. Please note that all gear hired from us must be returned to our office in Halls Gap unless alternative arrangements are made. These carriers combine safety, practicality, and comfort, making family hiking adventures easier and more enjoyable than ever.

I'm a big fan of Decathlon, love the value and quality, and the full, useful descriptions of every offering. Ballymun was a bit disappointing, seemed less choice than Belfast, and particularly so in camping and cycling departments. A trifle Sports Direct posing gear rather than active sports?

The bike is avilable in store (said the website), bike available to buy in store on the same day (asked the clerk over the phone if I could come down and buy the bike, she said yes). 40mins trip to the store by car on a passanger seat, dropped off, planned to cycle back home. What a pleasant surprise awaited. Bike is not available, nevermind what the website or a call center lady said. Staff super nice but super embarrassed. The look in their eyes said enough about the way Decathlon handles their business. Oh, I almost forgot. There were bikes available in the store, just not for me. Someone 'reserved' almost all bikes and didn't pay for them but staff still kept them reserved. I was happy to pay on the same day. Staff said themselves the situation is absurd. If you find yourself in a sitation bad enough to even consider coming to Decathlon, make sure to call the store, check the website - but still expect a surprise when you arrive as you will be lied to the same way I was. Shamefull.

Refused to accept a return of an unused product. Told me that I wasn’t entitled to return a product unless it was defective. Their online returns policy does not mention this. Spoke to duty manager named Atena then she said their was dust on the product and that was why it could not bed returned. Do you see any dust on it?

Went looking for a gazebo that I could attach to campervan. Decathlon was recommend to me by a facebook camping group I am a member of. They where very helpful and I bought a inflatable gazebo so I would definitely recommend taking a visit.

Great place for all sporting & camping equipment equipment. Really good quality items at very reasonable prices. I would absolutely check them out of you are in the market for anything outdoors or sport related. Only complaint is that the items can be very difficult to even get to at times when the store is busy, things are not planned out very well & large groups tend to gather making it impossible to reach what you are looking for. Best advice is go during off hours.
