What stood out most was his incredible patience and kindness, especially with our children. He was so understanding, never rushed us, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. Traveling with kids can sometimes be stressful, but he created such a calm and welcoming atmosphere that we were able to simply relax and enjoy the experience. Alan and Surfside Adventure Tours made our vacation across Victoria and Vancouver island a wonderful experience! He stopped at all the waterfalls, took us hiking and really went above and beyond making sure the entire party went on paths that were catered to their skill levels. Alan took the time to cultivate the trip and point out the wildlife, the waterfalls and even the mushrooms for every picture and pose we wanted to take. He was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. It was a wonderful day!

An excellent tour and tour guide! We’d explained to Alan in advance the types of things we were interested in and he managed to curate a perfect tour on the day. The highlight for us was Blue Grouse winery. A beautifully designed building with amazing views and multiple cosy seating areas with fantastic wine, food and service. We also loved visiting Chinatown and learning more about the history of Victoria and Vancouver island. We would highly recommend Alan for any trip you are considering whilst in Victoria. We even saw a bald eagle which was fantastic.
