In the heart of Oxford, we welcome groups of all kinds and create experiences that reflect each groups unique interests and style. Whether your focus is on the universitys academic heritage, its literary world, or the layered history that shaped the city, our guides bring deep knowledge and warm storytelling to every tour. With their understanding of the citys layout and hidden corners, they know exactly how to guide you through Oxfords most treasured sights while ensuring the pace and content suit your group. Tours can begin at a location and time that suits you, and we can easily divide larger groups among several guides to create a smooth, enjoyable, and well paced experience for all.

If your group has not yet arranged college admissions, there is no need to worry. We have long standing collaborations with various colleges and can assist with last minute access whenever possible. We are also able to organise multiple guides to welcome and manage larger groups without difficulty. All our tours are available for private or group bookings and may be shaped around any theme that inspires you, whether it is the world of literature, the legacy of great thinkers, the beauty of architecture, the charm of film sites, or the history of a specific college. Tours in French and Italian are also available, allowing visitors to explore the city in the language they feel most comfortable with. Whatever your interests, we create the perfect Oxford journey and reveal the stories that bring one of the oldest university cities to life.

Patrick was brilliant! He ensured we enjoyed a lovely and informative adventure during our first visit to Ireland. Patrick kept everything perfectly on time, communicated well, and acted fast to manage traffic and weather. Couldn’t ask for more.

Took the Belfast and Giant's Causeway tour with Sean as our driver, retired local policeman. We had an absolutely stellar experience. It was great to get local history from him, and going with a small group was definitely preferable to taking a giant bus. He was very flexible, asking for our input on how often we should stop and finding time to hit scenic routes. He also had recommendations for other attractions to visit while we were in town. The stops on the tour itself were also great. The titanic museum in Belfast was cool, but the Giant's Causeway was one of the most spectacular natural wonders I have ever laid eyes upon. I heavily recommend making time to see the Causeway.

From start to finish, our private tour was absolutely exceptional. The vehicle was luxurious, comfortable, and spotless. Tom was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and funny—sharing local insights and hidden gems we never would have found on our own. Every detail was perfectly organized, and we felt completely cared for throughout the journey. This was truly the highlight of our trip to Ireland. Highly recommend Elegant Irish Tours to anyone looking for a first-class, authentic experience!

I am visiting Ireland for 2 weeks and have taken a few different tours with Elegant Irish Tours. All of them were great experiences. I went to the Giant's Causeway, Connemara, and Galway, and into Wicklow and Glendalough. All the drivers I had were very informative about the areas I was seeing, and I was able to learn a lot about the country and its history. The drivers gave good amounts of time to see each spot, but not too much where you wouldn't have time to visit something else on each tour. Overall, each tour was lovely, and I would recommend using Elegant Irish Tours when exploring Ireland.

We were in Dublin for about 4 days and booked two, one day private tours with Elegant Irish Tours. Our first day was to the Cliffs of Moher, and the second was to Blarney Castle. We ended up with the same driver, Jimmy, for both days, and he was amazing. On the first day, he picked us up from our hotel promptly on time, in a very nice and comfortable vehicle. We set off towards the Cliffs, with a stop at Dunguair Castle in Kinvara. After that, we stopped a bit short of the Cliffs for some nice photos and then pushed on to the Cliffs to stay ahead of some incoming weather. After we were finished at the Cliffs, we headed back with a stop for lunch and a quick visit to Bunratty Castle and shopping. While returning to Dublin, Jimmy gave us several nice suggestions for dinners and sites around Dublin for our non-tour days. The next morning, Jimmy was again very prompt. Leaving our hotel and heading towards Blarney Castle, Jimmy was quick to point out site and landmarks as we drove and gave us quite a bit of Irish history, which was wonderful. We stopped at Cashel Rock and spent some time there before going on to Blarney Castle. Jimmy provided great guidance and helpful tips along the way. After visiting the Castle, we had plenty of time to eat and shop before heading back to Dublin. Jimmy was a wonderful guide during our visit, and we'd love to do more tours with him on future trips if possible. Highly recommend!!!
