We joined as a family of three, with our 10-year-old daughter. Hanging out on a sunny balcony, we got to peep into the basics of graffiti—techniques, styles, and how it all started in Istanbul. On the way back, the city looked totally different. It was super chill and such a special time for us.
Graffiti was a very novel experience for us. Ali patiently introduced his past works to us. Although we knew nothing about this field, he still worked hard to help us achieve our dreams and complete our Playing with my daughters' guinea pigs. Thank you Ali for the teaching and this unique activity❤️
Visited an exhibition on the concept of home and memories (my words), with pieces (mostly video and sound) by Syrian refugees living in Turkey. It resonated very much. The descriptions are in arabic and english. The space is small and unique and yes there are a lot of friendly cats.
Been going there for jam sessions only but lately thinking about spending 24/7 there :). Lovely atmosphere, friendly environment. There is love around and you feel it, so so nice. I feel everybody there except me has some kind of a talent :/ , that makes me feel a bit desperate is all. Oh, and they have tea!!! I'm not gonna add photos because their web sites and social media accounts are managing it enough, check it out i'd say ;) !!
A warm welcoming space where you can feel at ease straight away - cannot recommend this place enough as a space you can pop into, or sit for hours with a tea/coffee and the cats are also very special worth noting that it is a self service space so help yourself to the treats and leave the money in the draw! :D
Fantastic art space and self-service cafe with coffee, tea, and assorted fresh baked goods. Open-minded atmosphere, good internet. We had to get some work done while traveling and arthere was a comfortable place to work (and get distracted by kittens). Truly awesome artwork of local resident artists on display and available for purchase.
