Fun day out at Melbourne cricket club museum. Learned about the history. Got to see the ground. A little pricey but worth it. Nice cafe too!

This place is a great spot for whole family. It has stuff for the oldies and newer stuff for mid age. And down stairs there is an interactive section for the kids. Make sure you watch the Warney show and there is some info about the mcg I didn’t know-“reversible grandstands that burnt down. Staff service here is top shelf.

Definitely worth it for the price paid. Situated inside the stadium, it boasts several levels of memorabilia spread over different sections dedicated to different sports. These including Australian rules football, tennis, cricket etc. Most highlighted is the special cricket section, where you can enter a 3D projected Shane Warne experience, where the late, famous cricketer comes out and gives a talk about his career with the Australian cricket team. There are also lots of interactive areas where you can try out catching, pedalling and other sports. This especially great for children. You are also given a wristband that allows you to interact with many of the displays in the museum. Overall a very enjoyable visit. I would allow for about 1 hour for a visit. This will allow you to easily see everything in the museum and fully enjoy it.

My son celebrated his 11th birthday here and I am amazed the with the overall experience. Your staff at the cafe (Jo and the team) were amazing and they made the kids feel extremely happy. The food quality, taste and portioning were outstanding. Liam made all the kids feel like cricket celebrities. Thank you all an amazing experience. 🙏
