Glow Worm Tunnel: Evening E-Bike Tour

Join us for an unforgettable evening adventure on the Northern Rivers Rail Trail where you will explore one of the longest tunnels in New South Wales, the 524-meter Burringbar Range Tunnel. This magical tunnel is home to enchanting glow worms and microbats, creating a captivating natural display that will leave you in awe. Guests are picked up from their accommodation and transported to a charming village just thirty minutes from Byron Bay. Upon arrival, you will be fitted with a high-quality e-bike, helmet, lights, and waterproof panniers before setting off on a thrilling night ride through scenic trails. The ride offers a unique perspective of the region under the stars and allows participants to enjoy the serene beauty of the forest at night.

Once at the tunnel, the group will walk inside to marvel at the galaxy of glow worms while our expert guide shares fascinating insights about the local wildlife and ecology. This experience is suitable for children aged eight and up, making it a perfect family adventure or a memorable evening with friends. A minimum of four people per booking is required to join the tour. Tour times vary seasonally with summer rides running from 6.30 to 9.30 pm and winter rides from 4.30 to 7.30 pm.
