Niki gave us a FABULOUS tour of Ancient Olympia and its archaeological museum. Niki is incredibly knowledgeable about the history and the site and she conveyed the information very clearly in excellent English. She is warm, personable and professional. We had great private guides arranged by Olympic Tours at both the Ancient Agora with Vicky and the tour of Knossos with Kostas. Both guides were engaging, knowledgeable, adapted the tour based on the needs of the group. At the Agora, the majority of our group was older and had mobility limitations and Vicky made changes accordingly. Our tour with Kostas had younger people and Kostas knew exactly how to keep everyone interested and was good at avoiding crowds. I would happily book with Olympic Tours again!
Niki and Christos are exemplary hosts and first class tourism experts. They went out of their way to show me the beautiful ancient town of Olympia and curated a schedule perfect for my tastes and preferences. Olympia was one of the most amazing ruins I have seen and I have visited Greece many times. Niki was so knowledgable and made the tour very fun and exciting! I am typically not super fond of guided tours, and this just felt like a friend walking me back through history and making me feel like I was a part of it. I am an avid traveler and have truly never had such an amazing experience. On the rest of my travels, I was going to visit my family’s village in Arcadia. They gave me such great advice and suggestions. If it wasn’t for them, I don’t know if I could have achieved this bucket list item. The tour with Nicky was amazing!! It was super professional, very well planed, and you could tell she knows every little detail about the site. With Nicky, you could actually imagine the site back then, and feel the astonishing atmosphere of the place. We gained a lot of knowledge, that we couldn’t have gotten anywhere else, not to mention we had plenty of fun. Every statue was born back to life, and every little stone told us an amazing story. It was a total game changer for us, we truly recommend.
