Me and my sister travelled over 200 miles to get to Barry island especially for the tour and it did not disappoint!! We had the best time from start to finish, the guide was perfect and she made the experience unforgettable. We have not stopped laughing and smiling, so nostalgic and we have made memories to last a life time. To top it off all of our tour group were absolutely lovely, a very friendly bunch of people. Highly recommend from two very enthusiastic Gavin and Stacey fans ☺️
Being the absolute mega fan of Gavin & Stacey- this was an absolute must do experience! This was a 40th birthday treat for me and my god was it the best birthday gift ever! Linda & 'Dave' we're both just the perfect hosts and made the experience all the more enjoyable! Getting to go inside 'Gwens' house was like an out of body experience after having watched it so much on screen (Big thank you to the wonderful Glenda for allowing us to pop in and look around). we also visited 'the dolphin' (we didn't see Carl) (if you know then you know!) we went to the town square where Nessa famously did her sculpture routine, visited the church where Nessa nearly married Dave- aswell as lots of other view points from the show. So many photo opportunities and was also made all the more fun by getting to wear the different character masks to recreate some classic scenes and even having Linda very kindly taking photos for us. This tour is simply fantastic!!! I want to go on it again!!!!
Awesome apart from the weather
Amazing! Carrie from Barry was excellent. So knowledgeable! Songs were great and ‘Dave’ was superb, especially getting up those hills! Really enjoyed the quiz too! If going on a hot day, would recommend a fan as the bus is the original with no air con, apart from that amazing. If you love Gavin and Stacey as much as me and my fiancé I would 10000% book this! Tidy
The guide "sally from the valley" and who also features in the final Gavin and Stacey documentary was excellent, she worked really hard and made the whole trip brilliant, if you are a fan of the show or just a bit interested you'll love it as well as we did
