Ben

We joined Beren for the Tasting Tour and half of the Historical Tour on a Saturday. The tasting tour was a very nice introduction to some of the specialties of Antwerp and Belgium (waffles, frites, chocolate). On the historical tour, we learned about the hand, Antwerp's architecture, the split of the low countries, and lots of other good stuff about the main sites. A much smaller group comprised the tasting tour than the historical tour. Beren was a great tour guide - interesting, engaging, and knowledgeable.
twist

on my final night in Antwerp i did the Dark side of Antwerp tour! Beren was our guide and he was very informative and kept the group engaged! This tour was excellent and i throughly enjoyed it! it was wonderful to learn new things about one of my favourite places! next time i’m back in the city i’ll have to do the daytime tour!

I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hour walking tour of Antwerp with Gaston. Lively storytelling connecting the beautiful places with history and people and helped me gain a better foundational understanding of Antwerp's place in history. Free but gratuity for the guide is appreciated. The group started with about 30 (no problem hearing the guide) and ended with roughly 20 as some people probably realized they were not into history :P.

This walking tour was awesome. Its gud decision of mine to join this tour. Berin our guide was patiently explaining all the history of Antwerp. He has deep knowledge. He showed all landmarks and explained the history associated with each of them. They dont change also. Its up to us what we pay. This struck a sweet chord with me. I was awestruck with this approach. I though tipped him 15 euro...he definetely deserves that and much more. Take this tour and you will not regret. Man in red umbrella is Sweet guide Berin

Do recommend the tour with pleasure. Did book spontaneously at night for the next morning 10:30. It was easy to find tour guide Bieke with her big red umbrella. She shared a lot of interesting facts and stories about her home town and took us to places one would walk past otherwise. Had to cut the tour a few minutes short to reach my cruise ship in time. Would do it again in other cities 👍🏼 Don’t forget to tip since it’s a voluntary contribution.
