This is definitely a must-see if you're in the Dominican Republic. These are the iconic paradise beaches we've all seen in photos since we were kids. Unfortunately, it's not entirely paradise. Keep an eye on your belongings — our backpacks were opened and searched by someone while left on the sunbeds. Luckily, we had all our valuables with us.

The excursion package taking us to this beautiful island 🏝 is well organized and professionally managed. Care is taken to protect the local area with slow boat approaches towards the beach line. The tour operators look after all the tourists ensuring they are safe and having a great time within their comfort zones. This national treasure is well preserved and protected and visitors treat it with respect (environmentally). Beautiful day with a beaming sun pumping out 32C temperatures and with barely any clouds in the sky. Caribbean beaches and waters are a true wonder of the world.
