Met the boat at 08:45 at monks ferry, weather was great considering the forecast, Dave the skipper took us by Everton’s ground but the fish didn’t show so we moved up and down the River, Dave done his absolute best to get us catching in between all the teas and coffees but it wasn’t till the trip was coming to an end when 1 of us caught a whiting then a dab but that’s fishing, we are definitely booking with Anglesey fishing and boat trips in the near future, also we had some great banter. We all enjoyed ourselves and Dave is a top bloke 👍
Had a lovely day on the Mersey, 9-4pm weather was great for November. Managed to get a few dog fish and conga eel. Would definitely use again.
We were fitted in at extreme short notice so huge thank you to both Amanda and Dave. We had an amazing time. We were a group of 7 first timers and Dave was exceptionally helpful teaching us the basics as well as being a master of patience helping at detangling our often crossed lines.
