10/10! Great staff, great bikes, amazing journey! The mountain bikes we rented were perfect for the journey. We ended up doing the full 16K out. It was a lot work in the final stretch to get to the end with some uphills, but with the mountain bikes it was 100% worth the trip. We found not many places gave us detailed information while we were in Italy, but this place, both the front desk and the bike liaison were amazing and gave us so much information about the trail that led us to having one of our best experiences of our whole trip here. I would 100% recommend this company.
Together with six companions, I rented electric mountain bikes to explore the historic Via Appia Antica. The service provided by the attendant was highly professional, including a comprehensive explanation of the principal landmarks along the route. The bicycles themselves were of excellent quality and sufficiently powerful to navigate the undulating terrain with ease. After a concise yet clear demonstration of their operation, we commenced our journey along the Via Appia. This ancient roadway, dating back over two millennia, is still partially paved with its original basalt stones. Due to their unevenness, cyclists often make use of adjacent sandy paths that provide a smoother alternative. The three-hour rental period allowed us to traverse the entirety of the itinerary indicated on the complimentary map of the archaeological area, and to return within the allotted time. Along the way, numerous remnants of mausoleums, which historically lined the road, can be observed. Many of these monuments are currently undergoing conservation, as evidenced by scaffolding. Visitors wishing to examine significant sites—such as the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella or the villa and circus of Emperor Maxentius—in greater depth would be advised to reserve additional time. The return of the bicycles was managed efficiently and without difficulty. Overall, the excursion constituted an enriching cultural and recreational experience, and may be strongly recommended to those with prior familiarity with Rome who wish to deepen their engagement with the city’s ancient heritage.
We went on a private bike tour with Flavia and she was wonderful to spend the day with. She taught us about the history of Rome and brought us to all the landmarks and historical sights that were significant along the Appian way. She took us through the countryside and under the aqueducts. The e-bikes are easy to use and very fun. I highly recommend asking for her if you do a private tour!

This was our first time riding e-bikes and it was fantastic. We showed up just after they opened and were able to rent bikes without issue for the day. They provided a map and tips for navigating the area. It was a gorgeous ride in the cool of the morning. We stopped where we wanted and ate at the cutest restaurant for lunch. 10/10 recommend! 🤩
