This tour begins in the historic city of Durham, where you will explore key sites including Durham University’s Archaeology collections. Afterward, you will enjoy a relaxed lunch before continuing to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Durham Cathedral, one of the greatest architectural and spiritual landmarks in Britain.

The journey then continues to Bishop Auckland, home to the Auckland Project, an ambitious regeneration program preserving and celebrating the region’s heritage. Here, you will visit Auckland Castle, once the grand palace of the Prince Bishops and now a place where their story—and the wider history of faith in the British Isles—is brought to life. This is a full-day experience with entry to all sites included, along with lunch.
