This family-friendly sea kayaking adventure offers the perfect blend of nature, wildlife, and outdoor fun. Departing daily from Perth, the journey begins at beautiful Shoalwater Bay, where you’ll be introduced to stable double sea kayaks that are easy for beginners and enjoyable for all ages. As you paddle across the calm, clear waters, you’ll have the rare opportunity to observe Australian Sea Lions in their natural habitat. These playful animals often swim right alongside the kayaks, creating unforgettable moments. Dolphins are also frequent visitors in the area, adding even more excitement to your marine experience. After enjoying time with these fascinating creatures, you’ll head to the island for a guided nature walk, where your guide will share insights about the local ecosystem, birdlife, and unique coastal landscapes.
The adventure continues with a relaxing picnic lunch provided on the island, giving you time to recharge before enjoying the rest of the day at your leisure. Whether stretching out on the sun-kissed beach, snorkelling in the shallow reefs, or exploring tidal pools filled with starfish, crabs, and shellfish, there’s something for everyone. A great afternoon spent kayaking around Dublin bay. Learned plenty from kayak leader Philip and his team (Amy & Dan)

Went out this morning and Conditions were perfect 👌 All equipment needed was provided, well organised. Tour was informative and fun. My priority was seeing seals and I saw plenty. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. Thanks all!!

I did the 2pm tour with my Mum. It was amazing to see our coastline from a different point of view. We saw plenty of marine wildlife, including grey seals basking on rocks. It was a great workout and a beautiful way to spend an afternoon. Jenny's friendliness and welcoming nature added to the experience!

We did the 5:30pm tour and couldn’t recommend it highly enough! Signup was smooth, reasonable price, clear communication beforehand, easy access for beginners, topped off by amazing views (including seals and local birds) and an excellent guide — thanks Philip!
Dan

Great craic. Phil and James were brilliant, taking us out on an engaging and fun kayak tour of Dalkey island. Great focus on safety and making sure there were plenty of breaks so no one was left behind or struggling. If you’re doing this I’d recommend bringing old shoes with you!
