Town planners have long viewed Paris as a city shaped by its monumental buildings, and during the 1930s the Art Deco movement embraced this vision fully. Characterized by elegant ornamentation, purity of lines, and grand, almost palatial proportions, Art Deco architecture offered a modern interpretation of Parisian prestige. This walking tour brings that remarkable era back to life, guiding you through the spirit of innovation and luxury that defined the period. Emerging from the landmark Art Decorative Exhibition of 1925, the movement grew steadily before reaching its height at the Art and Techniques Exhibition of 1937, a moment that celebrated bold creativity and cutting-edge design.
During these influential years, many architects—most of them little-known at the time—entered competitions that allowed them to experiment with new ideas about technology, materials, and modern living. Their work helped shape what is now recognized as the Art Deco District of Paris, an area that today houses several of the city's major cultural institutions. As we walk through this district, we will discover iconic sites such as the Champs-Élysées Theater, the monumental Tokyo Palace, and the striking Chaillot Palace, each of which stands as a testament to the ambition and artistry of this transformative architectural

We spent three wonderful days in the apartment with our two kids, and we absolutely loved it! The location is perfect — close to everything, yet so peaceful and cozy. We all slept like angels! The place was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were smooth and very flexible. Thank you so much for the lovely stay! we’ll definitely be back!

The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate me and my family. We have 3 little kids and the hosts graciously provided a crib, bedding, bathtub, highchair, cutlery and even baby food. The apartment was very quant, quiet and had so much charm. Just a block away from the train, restaurants, pharmacy, grocery, etc. Wonderful part of town. We had a great experience, thank you for everything!!!

We were in Paris during June 2025, stayed at Paris At Deco during our time in Paris. Location: Awesome!. Walkable to Eiffel Towers, walkable to metro station and many great restaurants nearby including pastries. The place: We were family of 4, it worked well for us. About the host: Host was super good in communication and responding to our questions, requests. Overall - Great place to stay if you are in Paris for a family of 2-4.

Beautiful, clean and bright flat with French flair in perfect location. 5min walking distance to Tour Eiffel, and many brasseries, shops, cafés and bakeries in less than 5min walking distance. As it’s in a side street and faces the inside court yard, it’s very quiet. Located on the 5th floor, there is a lot of light coming in. The elevator makes it easy to get up with the luggage. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. A beautiful place to dive into the Parisian life for a while.
