Thank you to our lovely server Julius for making it a memorable experience. He was very dedicated to what he is doing and guided us with the menu. He was very kind and accommodating to our request for our daughter. The atmosphere was very nice plus we were seated by the window which was an amazing view. We chose the Sunset Premium menu. Food was okay not to what I was expecting from it was just okay. Nothing too special from the price point. A bit underwhelming on our end.

This was one of the best cruising experiences of my life. We had an incredible time in the ocean in Sydney Harbour. We went on a lunch 3 course cruise for 3hrs and 45mins . We had a great time. For entrees, we had either a salad, ravioli or smoked salmon. I had the smoked salmon. It was made well, with nice flavours. For mains, I would recommend either the barramundi or the chicken. They were really good. And for dessert, my personal favourite, the Chocolate Pebble. It was so tasty, a mouse top with a nice harder base. We were served by Kamil. He had great memory and would serve us food within minutes. We would totally recommend cruising with Captain Cook Cruises!

We recently joined the Captain Cook Cruises tour aboard the Sydney 2000 for our annual group gathering, cruising from midday to 4 PM on a Sunday. 👍 The Good Location & Views: The views of the Sydney Harbour, including the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, were simply beautiful. Being placed on the Sky Deck, and having access to the top deck, gave us a fantastic, open perspective of the city—this was the main highlight of the day! Vessel & Staff: The boat was spacious and comfortable. The staff were attentive and did their best to accommodate our group. Atmosphere: We had a lovely time, sharing laughs and making great memories with our friends. It was a pleasant setting for our annual celebration. 👎 Room for Improvement Food Quality: The food portions were good, and the main course (chicken/veggies) was generally good. However, we were disappointed that the salmon entree was not fresh, which detracted from the dining experience. Drinks: It's worth noting for future guests that all drinks came at an extra cost. Seating: The seating arrangement on the deck felt a little cosy for our larger group. Conclusion: Even with a few small issues regarding the food quality and seating, we still enjoyed our outing. It was a pleasant experience with stunning views, but not an exceptional one.

We did the "sunset" dinner cruise; however, the sun did not set during our cruise. The staff was accommodating but not very welcoming or personable. The food was very good. The portions were substantial and there was no provision to take leftovers which was a shame. All beverages were an extra charge. The boat was spacious with great views of the harbor. The rooftop deck was awesome. It was a nice time but not exceptional.

We really enjoyed this. It was an easy check in and the boat departed on time. It was pouring with rain (20 August 2025) but we had a great trip and managed to see whales including a breach! The crew were friendly and have good commentary about the whales. It gets choppy and people with sea sickness will struggle but the crew had sick bags which they handed out. The trip was about 2.5 hours and we had plenty of time to watch the whales and get some great videos and photos. We were really pleased with our trip and the crew were really friendly. Make sure to do wrap up and if on the top deck, maybe a towel to sit on. Despite the weather we still enjoyed it and would recommend.
