This is absolutely the worst airport I've ever been to. Nothing is organized, and the passport check takes at least an hour before the flight and unfortunately after landing, too. They have only a very few flights, but they are so that they leave with a 10-minute difference, so that hundreds of people queue for the passport check at the same time. Announcements are super quiet, but when you manage to hear one, they are saying that everyone needs to proceed to the gate immediately. Yeah, beleive me, I would, but the gate is located right behind the passport check, where the hundreds of angry travelers are waiting with little to no progress. And the one who makes the announcement also sees the queue, so how?
Nice, small airport. Affordable parking in front of departures and arrivals. The check-in area has a good size to have space for all waiting customers. The staff at the check-in, cafeteria, security and duty free are very friendly. The whole airport is very clean and tidy. When I came back from holiday it took 15 minutes to get the luggage which was great! I hope more airlines will organise flights from this nice airport.
It is a small airport that opens seasonally. However, their passage to Switzerland, Austria and France is very close.
Nice little airport. Everything is fast, from security to passport control. Airport is not too crowded, fast connection from the city of Friedrichshafen and reverse.
It is little, but very convenient. The observation deck is free. And parking fee for up to three hours is waived, when consuming something at the pizza/coffee place Volare. 15 minutes parking is free anyway.
