We had a wonderful stay at Q Station, the food, the friendliness of the staff, the views, everything was amazing. One small, but pretty major (although, inexpensive) suggestion is to put non-slip mats in the baths with showers. I only showered once over our three night stay, because hopping into and out of the bath was too dangerous with my feet slipping and not being able to gain traction. A non-slip mat in the bath would eliminate this and would GREATLY have improved our experience.

Very beautiful place, loved the ghost tour, my room, the private beach, and walking around the grounds. Just wish the food/dining was a little more accommodating for guests staying there, as hours were limited and they expected you to have a reservation. Experience would have been perfect had I been able to stay and get my meals there vs going down into Manly, my only complaint about it.

The reception staff were very blasé. The nicest staff were the people driving the shuttles you need to take. The property itself is massive. It’s a beautiful place. The rooms were very underwhelming. Light bulbs blown, towel rack and soap dish were wonky, scuff marks on a lot of the walls. Just missing the polish that up would expect for the price they charged. Not a horrible experience but just expected a bit more. My husband says it’s the type of place they just don’t expect you to come back and I think he’s right. On a plus the bed was amazingly comfortable that was the highlight of the stay

Amazing setting in a major historical site. Beautiful grounds and a lovely little beach. But not really a 4 star hotel. Very limited food available on site. Some poor maintenance. Make sure you choose the accommodation that meets your needs. They vary a lot. The museum and the tours are excellent.

Nice location in the National Park with a lot of history. We enjoyed the walks in the national park but also the history walking tour and the dinner restaurant. The rooms are simple with a great view. However, some things just need an investment in the rooms. The bathtub could do with a change and definitely the blow dryers as well. The blow dryer when using it, sounds like it could blow up in flames any time :). Overall still a nice experience and a good place for a short stay.
