Singapore: Urban Architecture

Beginning in the Rochor district and concluding in Marina South, the tour explores a series of influential contemporary buildings such as LASALLE College of the Arts, DUO Residences, The South Beach, the Supreme Court and Marina Bay Sands. Along the route, we will observe how designers integrated new modern structures within a landscape shaped by colonial and Art Deco heritage, creating a dialogue between old and new. The experience continues through the Bayfront area, featuring landmarks like the ArtScience Museum, the Helix Bridge, the Esplanade, and the Singapore Flyer. With works by Norman Foster, Ole Scheeren and Moshe Safdie, the tour reveals how thoughtful mixed-use solutions have become essential components of Singapore’s urban fabric, addressing complex challenges with innovation and architectural intelligence.
