Great hike just outside of Ushuaia. The sign says 5 hours but we were up and back in 3.5 including a picnic at the lake. Amazing views!

Went on a group trek in a group of 10 people. Took us about 5 hours to the lagoon and back from the parking lot(about 2 hours each way, and one hour for lunch). The date was 10/14/2025. The lagoon was partially frozen, though in the unfrozen part you could see the water's emerald color. The contrast with the snowy mountains on the background was stunning. In my opinion, this time of the year is the best if you want to enjoy the pristine beauty of this scenery. Additionally, the way back is also stunning, with the valley before the lagoon showing its immensity.

The worst hike in Patagonia. Choose another beautiful hike, one that's less touristy and more accessible. It's one long pigsty towards the lake.

Very beautiful would suggest hiking in the morning since the muddy ground was still frozen when we started walking. Plus the lake shows better reflections if the sun isn't directly on the lake.

This was one of the most gorgeous hikes I’ve ever done. Each step just kept getting better and better. I wish I brought my big lens with me to capture the landscape. I was able to get there via uber, and then hitched a ride back into town.
