Loved this market, a mecca for foodies. A great variety of fresh fruit and veg and a wide variety of meats and seafood. The food here all looks excellent.

It doesn’t get much better than this market. Locally source fresh produce, meats and fish. Not for the faint of heart though. The edible insect selection is excellent. As is the homemade tortilla stand. Highly recommended a visit.

Cool lots of good shops although we came at 9 am on november 2 sunday, the vendors were not all open. It was desert maybe because of dia de muertos

Fantastic mercando or market with big variety of spiders, scorpions, buggy, grasshoppers, crocodiles and everything else. On one side there are great eating spaces. Tasty and lively. Recommended!

We wanted to buy cacao beans, hence we came here. It is a very unique mercado. I was very surprised especially with the whole young piglets and big rabbits for sale!! Vendors are very helpful and friendly. We ate at one of the eateries and the food and drinks were super! They have exotic tacos- crocodile. Garantula, crickets, etc etc. Prices are very cheap! Service was also excellent! I love this mercado!
