I had a wonderful day on this tour. The audio was good. It wasn’t crowded, so I could move seats from inside and out. I used it to get around too. Overall a great experience!
Complete scam for way too much money. Busses are old and not well maintained. Tour Audio Guide via phoneApp is not available. The plug-in earplug system hardly functions. On old busses more than half of it are broken. If you manage to get a functioning item, you still need to manage the way too loud to ignore speakers for all and the earplug-system: you can always listen to both. However, don’t bother: they play music 3/4 of the tour and announce where the bus is supposed to be (but not necessarily then is). The rare information provided are not worth to go through all that trouble. The audio guide attempts to be funny which is is not (Joni matter your humour). Better save your money. We also had loads of Guinness on the floor so that shoes and trousers became dirty. Bus driver stopped for 15 min and only then announced next three stops not available. @city sightseeing Dublin: do not dare to comment thanks for your feedback unless you fix the issues, apologies and reach out to me to reimburse the ticket fares.
Great bus, visits all the highlights, 90 minute loop, each stop is visited 1/30 minutes.
If you have one day to see the city, and your legs are tired, hop on this bus and hop off whenever you see something that looks interesting. You can sit on top and get a great view of the city, on the open roof if the weathers nice, or sit under the covers when the Irish rain inevitably arrives. The upper section is great for pictures and people watching, maybe just watch out for a branch here and there, cause yes, you are riding amongst the trees. You’ll pass the Guinness factory and Phoenix park, both of which are pretty far out of the city and this is a convenient way to get to them.
Great experience, the buses were clean and the upper deck afforded the opportunity to take great photos. The Tour Guide was informative and entertaining. We got to see some sights that we wouldn't have been able to get to simply walking through town. We purchased the ticket that included the 45 Minute Boat Tour which was lovely as well. What a beautiful perspective from the river cruise. Here too, the tour guide was entertaining and informative. Well worth the money!
