We went on 2 tours from Malaga: Caminito del Rey, and Setenil and Ronda. We booked the tours with Get Your Guide and both were actually serviced by Visitanddo.com (a local tour company). The booking experience with GYG is very easy and smooth. The post booking information is very thorough and easy to understand. Having booked multiple tours with them it’s good to see that there is a very solid consistent format of communications. Pre-tour reminders via email and in app notifications are good to make sure the timing and pickup locations are well received. The app is easy to navigate and provides tons of great info. We stayed in Torremolinos so it was great to have pick up options there so we didn’t have to train into Malaga. Caminito del Rey - tour guide was Alain. He was very knowledgeable about the canyons and the history of the Caminito. The views and hike are amazing and breathtaking! The trails in some parts are very narrow and some steps are very steep so this is not suitable for people with mobility issues or small children. A small issue we noted was the earphones provided. We had a very large group and since the paths are narrow the group was pretty spread out with him at front. At times he was far ahead or around a corner and we would lose what he was saying for a few minutes as the radio link was not strong enough. Setenil and Ronda - tour guide was Jorge. He was excellent! He was funny, made sure the group was as safe (always gave heads up on small walking hazards as we moved along), provided great info about the surrounding areas and history on the bus rides to the two locations, and while in each place did an amazing job of providing background on the areas and tips for the calling around. We went on National Spanish Day so it was as VERY busy so he had to switch some of the itinerary in the fly which ensured our trip experience was not impacted too much.

Great tour experience with Danny. He was fun and informative. Took great care of us. The Málaga Cathedral was phenomenal and Danny’s guideship even seemed to get the attention of people not in the group. It was great!
Dani was a great tour guide. He brought the idea of a siege of the fortress to life and relatable through great storytelling. He paused often to ask if there was need for clarification or questions. We also enjoyed the information about the cathedral and the story behind what the locals call it. The one-armed lady. But in a loving way. Would recommend!
