I can’t recommend this tour and Daniel more than enough. This is a once in a life time experience. Daniel is a legit rider so if you tell him what your looking for; I’m positive he can provide you with the best. The trail is everything your looking for. Not to mention we stopped to learn at a local spot about textiles and also a nice spot to buy the salt by the Maras. I’ve done this tour twice and next time I’m going more intense ! Hell yes ! Thank you so much Daniel, you killed it.

We highly recommend Buho Tours and Daniel for their top level service and expertise. My wife and I wanted to see a few places in Sacred Valley, namely Maras and Moray, and really wanted to do that on mountain bikes to experience local trails, landscapes and communities, and also to challenge ourselves in new environment. As we live at 200m elevation, biking uphill at over 3,800m elevation proved to be a challenge. Our guide Daniel proved to be very experienced in assessing our abilities. Daniel adjusted our route on the fly so that we could have the best experience our fitness level would allow.

If you're looking for the most epic mountain e-bike adventure, look no further than Buho Tours, led by the incredible guide Daniel. This wasn’t just a ride—it was an unforgettable journey across some of the most majestic landscapes I’ve ever experienced. I was lucky enough to go on two adventures with Daniel. The first ride took us just outside of Cusco, near the Sacsayhuaman area. We ascended through breathtaking mountain terrain, often riding along ancient animal trails and raw wilderness. It was the perfect warm-up for what would become the most unforgettable ride of my life. Two weeks later, Daniel and his skilled driver, Francisco, picked me up for a 60 km ride through Ausangate, the 7 Lagunas, and Rainbow Mountain. Let me be clear: this ride is not for beginners—it’s for seasoned riders only. With 25 years of mountain biking experience under my belt, even I found this to be one of the most challenging and rewarding rides I’ve ever done. We climbed some of the most intense ascents I’ve ever encountered, all with the jaw-dropping backdrop of the Andes. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better—we arrived at Rainbow Mountain at 4 PM. No tourists. Just us. That moment alone was worth it all. The final descent? Unreal. It felt like a natural trail park designed by the Earth itself—complete with natural jumps, rollercoaster-like drops, and pure joy flowing through every turn. I couldn’t stop smiling. Daniel, thank you for trusting in my ability and bringing me along on this incredible adventure. I’m honored to be the first woman to ride this massive route with you. Your passion, skill, and deep respect for the land and the ride made this experience truly unforgettable. Huge love to Buho Tours—and to Daniel, the most epic guide you could ever ask for.

We spent two amazing days riding eMTBs with Daniel from Buhu Tours. On the first day, we went to a lagoon near Pisac so he could assess my wife’s and my biking level. On the way back, he stopped at a high point in Cusco, and from there we enjoyed a wonderful descent all the way to the city center, crossing all kinds of terrain. On the second day, we headed to the Rainbow Mountain area, which was also an incredible experience. Daniel was an excellent guide—attentive, well-prepared, and always concerned about the group. He made sure everyone was comfortable, and at the end of the rides he even took me on some more technical trails to match my skills. I highly recommend him and Buhu Tours.

Thanks Daniel for a great downhill experience in the Andes. Great equipment and 3 fantastic and challenging tracks. I felt very secure with Daniel as guide. Buho Tours is a small family business and you communicate directly with Daniel - no middleman 👍
