This guided walking tour begins in downtown New York City, leading you through the historic Financial District and the iconic streets of Wall Street. Along the way, your local guide shares meaningful insights into the rise of the World Trade Center, the events of 9/11, and the impact the tragedy had on the city and its people. As you arrive at the 9/11 Memorial, you’ll have the chance to explore the Memorial Pools while learning about their thoughtful design, symbolism, and the architectural vision behind the new World Trade Center complex, including the powerful use of light, materials, and reflection.
The experience continues with a visit to the Firefighter’s Memorial, a solemn space honoring the bravery and sacrifice of first responders. Your guide will then lead you to the Eleven Tears Memorial, a touching tribute often overlooked by visitors exploring on their own. The tour concludes at the Oculus, where you can witness the impressive reconstruction of the site and reflect on the resilience of New York City as it continues to rebuild and move forward.

Our tour guide, Maya, was great! We took the trip from CT as one of our stops foe our honeymoon. Maya was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.

I had the most wonderful and emotionally impactful experience on the 9/11 Ground Zero tour with Jaclyn, an incredibly knowledgeable and passionate guide. She is a native New Yorker who was actually present in Manhattan on the day of the September 11 attacks in 2001. Jaclyn shared heartfelt, first-hand experiences and detailed happenings from that day, providing a deeply personal perspective. All of the fire department information and the detailed description of the memorial's design were superb. I especially appreciated touching their memorial and hearing her explain how the memorial was meticulously designed and the specific firm—Jeffrey Beers Architects—that paid for it, adding to the significance of the site. Visiting the memorials was an emotionally moving experience. Jaclyn explained in detail how the names of victims are inscribed on the memorial pools, each carefully placed to honor individual lives. The process of how the names were selected and inscribed was fascinating and respectful. The roses placed for each birthday were incredibly touching. I learned that someone was born on every day of the year, including four individuals born on Leap Day, February 29. The dedication behind these floral tributes added a poignant layer to the experience. Jaclyn also elaborated on the story of the World Trade Center's tree, a mature Callery pear tree that was rescued from Tower 1’s rubble. It was inspiring to learn how it was carefully replanted and that, surprisingly, it is considered an invasive species, which adds an interesting ecological dimension to its story. Overall, Jaclyn was the best tour guide I have ever had, and I travel frequently and have experienced many tours around the world.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 9/11 Ground Zero tour with ExperienceFirst The All Access Tour (Tour + Museum + Observatory) was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything was smooth, engaging, and so worth it. Our tour guide, Jaclyn, made the experience unforgettable — she was knowledgeable, friendly, and brought the history to life with her energy and passion. You could tell she really cared about making sure everyone was having a great time and learning along the way. The museum was powerful and well-curated, the tour gave us an inside perspective we wouldn’t have had on our own, and the observatory views were breathtaking. Having it all in one package made it stress-free and seamless. Highly recommend this experience — and if you get Jaclyn as your guide, consider yourself lucky! #NeverForget 🙏🏾

Incredible, extremely moving, we got the self guided tour with a little iPhone type thing and headphones. Has great info, not to much, and not to little! I would allow a good 3+ hours to really get around and take it all in! Have been twice now, it’s very well done, and worth the visit.

5 stars for the care and concern shown by our guide, Dave Gardner. He is truly a survivor as well. As he walks us through the tour, he has 1st person photographs he took around Ground Zero, and shares his 1st hand experiences of that day. Definitely knowledgeable, courteous, and devoted to your experience.
