If you love Bruce, then it's worth a stop. It's somebody's home, so you can't go in, but it has a Born to Run plaque at the entrance. It gave me a sense of rock and roll history - I've grown up nearby and never knew that this house was here. You get a cool, eerie vibe of Bruce's presence and the fiery spirit of the lyrics as they float in the cool Jersey Shore air.

Very cool stop for any Springsteen fan. This little house is where Bruce wrote “Born to Run” and you can feel the history when you see it up close. There is a plaque with the album cover and track list right on the porch that makes it easy to imagine the music being created here. The spot is quiet and tucked away on a small street in Long Branch, which adds to the charm. It is a simple house but standing there makes you think about the impact those songs went on to have. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Was up for sale about 10 years ago for around 350k. Would have made an ideal Air B&B for Springsteen fans.

Not much to see. Just think Bruce and his band walked all over the neighborhood. Now you are too. That's pretty cool.

Cannot give the “Born To Run” House a 5 star rating…thank you for not calling it the “Born To Strum” House…even though he did that, it definitely would not have the same jingle. Looking forward to seeing The Boss on the front porch again one day, sipping a Bud (Jack actually) and writing a new classic. He’s the best, he’s the Boss and like him, me and my Grey have “White Line Fever” which is why I stopped by this house. Follows by a 7/11 Big Gulp, slice of pizza from Big Doms on the “walk” and some Italian Ice. Now I’m Born To Roll! (Bruce lives and wrote songs here in spring and summa if 1975 if I have it right but I’m no Casey Casum. Please Mark as helpful and follow. I’d like to start a podcast in my travels so I need to see if there is interest Bruce-if you read this, I’d sure love 15 mins of your time. How can we connect?
